The race for the Oscars is well underway for Foreign Language Oscar.
The Business of Film has indicated in BOLD and BLUE films handled by Sales Agents at AFM 2010. Films nominated to represent the country are an important and welcome accolade to the filmmakers. From a total of sixty-five countries, for the first time Ethiopia and Greenland have submitted films for consideration in the Foreign Language Film category for the 83rd Academy Awards®.

The 83rd Academy Awards nominations will be announced live on January 25, 2011 in the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater.
Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2010 will be presented on Sunday, February 27, 2011, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
