SMG Activates Four New Brands Under The Stealth Media Group
Banner Glen Ackermann Heads Up Sales & John Adams Production

Michael Cowan, Jason Piette & Glenn Kendrick Ackermann

Stealth Media Group headed by Michael Cowan, Jason Piette and Glenn Kendrick Ackerman, President of World sales and new Partner, attend AFM with the launch of four labels diversifying and re-branding the company's film production and distribution objectives. Prior to AFM John Adams joined the team as Head of Production.

The company has moved forward into the production of bigger budgeted films. Michael Cowan said, "We are delighted to have Glenn as a partner; he's a respected member of the community and he came on board prior to Toronto at a vibrant time when Stealth is ramping up its production slate with bigger budget titles for Fall 2013 and building a solid sales team."

Jason Piette says: "It's an exciting time for us. We've gone back to boarding projects early as co-producers and we've structured some equity/gap partners to build with on the larger projects we own – which is what we did well in the past - and Glenn is a wonderful ally to have in that process."

Glenn Kendrick Ackermann commented: "I look forward to meeting all my distribution and production friends and colleagues during AFM, to discuss the Stealth slate and what lies in store for us. I'm excited to have joined such a passionate and seasoned team."

Stealth Media Group's four Brands are comprised of: Stealth Sovereign, Stealth Adrenalin, Stealth Prestige and Stealth Documentaries.

Stealth Sovereign: A label aimed at wide, 2000+ screen releases and films that have worldwide commercial appeal. The Sovereign label includes in pre-production, Mary – A biblical epic that follows a part of Mary, Joseph and Jesus' life from Mary's youth to her struggles as a mother; Gummy Bear: The Movie In 3d – The successful children's character, comes to life using revolutionary 3D animation; From Paris To Dakar: Full Throttle - The true story of KTM, an Austrian motorcycle manufacturer; Gernika – Inspired by real life war correspondents, is based on the true story of the bloody aerial attack on the Spanish town of Guernica in April, 1937.

Positioned to promote Genre films is Stealth Adrenalin: titles and screening at AFM include: Panzer Chocolate – The first interactive feature, with events triggered on your mobile app via the soundtrack of the film; The Invoking – An ambiguous descent into the darkest part of the human psyche. The Genre label has eight films in various stages of pre-production.

Showcasing quality European films is Stealth Prestige with The Knife That Killed Me - The adaptation of the best-selling book by Anthony McGowan screening at AFM, and titles completed that include The Mafia Bookeeper and Sadourni's Butterflies, with Sparks & Embers and Epic in Post Production, and currently in Production The Porcupine and the comedy Happily. Ever. After.

With the current dynamics of niche programming and release patterns to all the available platforms, Stealth Documentaries gives Documentaries with International appeal a Theatrical platform. Screening at AFM is Fly Colt Fly – Fly Colt Fly contrasts the story of a real kid who fell into burglary to keep from starving and his mass media alter ego, The Barefoot Bandit. In Production for the label is Lauda: 33 Days To Hell And Back. Delivering for March 2014, Lauda features former F1 drivers of the 70s as well as current drivers.
