Inception Film Partners To Distribute Boulevard
Robin Williams' Final Movie Which Screens Today
Robin Williams and Roberto Aguire in Boulevard
|
Inception Film Partners, LLC, has acquired the international distribution rights to Boulevard, directed by Dito Montiel, starring Robin Williams, Kathy Baker, Bob Odenkirk and Roberto Aguire. Written by Douglas Soesbe, Boulevard marks Williams' final appearance in a motion picture.
Andy Reimer, partner of Inception Media Group, said: "Robin Williams' performance as a man in a heartbreaking struggle to find his place in the world is both heroic and poignant and Boulevard is an extraordinary coda to an indelible performer's life."
In Boulevard, the routine of everyday life quietly peels away to reveal the struggle of a loving husband in conflict with his inner-self. Nolan Mack (Williams) and his wife Joy (Baker) wake up under the same roof each morning, their separate bedrooms underscoring the disparate worlds they're living in. His emotional journey begins to unfold when Nolan encounters a troubled young man (Aguire). Boulevard captures the story of individual growth at any age, and the repression that surfaces in idealistic pursuits. With moving performances, Boulevard reminds us that things are seldom as they appear on the surface.
Andy Reimer and Jim Harvey negotiated the deal on behalf of Inception Film Partners with Preferred Content and WME, on behalf of the filmmakers. Camellia Entertainment produced the film with North American rights being handled by Preferred Content and WME.
AFM screening today, Nov. 5 at 5:00 p.m. at the Broadway Cineplex 4 and Friday, Nov. 7 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ocean Avenue Screening Room.
