Kristen Figeroid Rounds Out Team
& Attends Her First AFM For Bloom

Kristen Figeroid - President of International Sales & Distribution

Kristen Figeroid attends her first AFM as President of International Sales & Distribution at Bloom, overseeing the international licensing and distribution of Bloom's growing film slate.

Bloom's Alex Walton, to whom Figeroid reports, said: "Kristen comes to the team with great experience; she is a highly regarded sales agent and incredibly well-liked among buyers, producers, and agents. She has a great eye for material and talent as well as a keen understanding of the global film landscape. She is the perfect fit."

Kristen Figeroid has over 18 years of experience in independent feature film. Most recently she served as EVP, Sales and Distribution for Sierra Affinity handling sales on such films as Coldest City starring Charlize Theron, Gold starring Matthew McConaughey, Academy Award nominated Whiplash from director Damien Chazelle and Nightcrawler starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Bloom, founded by Walton and producer / financier Ken Kao in 2014, has seen rapid growth and development over the last two years. The company recently announced Paul Weitz's Bel Canto starring Julianne Moore, Ken Watanabe and Demián Bichir, on which they began sales at the Toronto International Film Festival.

The company's diversified slate includes: Scott Cooper's Hostiles starring Christian Bale and Rosamund Pike; Martin Zandvliet's The Outsider starring Jared Leto; Federico D' Alessandro's Tau starring Maika Monroe and Ed Skrein; Danny Strong's Rebel in the Rye starring Nicholas Hoult; George Clooney's Suburbicon starring Matt Damon and Julianne Moore; and Kate and Laura Mulleavy's Woodshock starring Kirsten Dunst.
