Laura Austin-Little Recruited By Lakeshore Entertainment As Head Of International Sales And Acquisitions

Laura Austin-Little and Jason Buckley, Lakeshore Entertainment
Recently recruited by Lakeshore Entertainment, Laura Austin-Little attends Cannes for the first time in her capacity as Head of International Sales and Acquisitions. With a strong upcoming slate, Lakeshore also promoted Jason Buckley to Senior Vice President of International Sales.

Lakeshore Entertainment Group Chief Operating Officer, Eric Reid said of the appointment: "Lakeshore's upcoming slate will be some of the best films we've produced in the past 20 years, and we are excited to have Laura's talent in bringing these films to our long-standing international distribution partners."

Austin-Little said: "Lakeshore's reputation, talent and track record speaks for itself and I look forward to meeting the international market demand for theatrical, quality films with the high standard that Lakeshore consistently delivers."

Lakeshore's international development slate includes both high-concept commercial films as well as those focused on award prestige. Upcoming films from Lakeshore include: the Philip Roth adaptation American Pastoral, helmed by and starring Ewan McGregor alongside Jennifer Connelly and Dakota Fanning; the fifth installment of the successful franchise Underworld; and the psychological thriller, The Boy, starring Lauren Cohan. Over the next year, Lakeshore is also planning to start Brilliant, an international heist caper, and Train, a film noir based on the Pete Dexter novel to be directed by James Foley.

Austin-Little was previously at Annapurna International where she handled international sales on films including American Hustle and Zero Dark Thirty. An Oxford University graduate, Austin-Little's previous London-based posts include the sales company Exclusive Media, Working Title, and Warner Bros.

Upcoming releases include The Age of Adaline, starring Blake Lively, Harrison Ford, and Michiel Huisman, as well as The Vatican Tapes, starring Michael Pena and Djimon Hounsou.
