The Algarve Sun Sets On That Good Night

John Hurt in the leading role of Ralph in That Good Night
Production of the feature film adaptation of the NJ Crisp play That Good Night, featuring John Hurt from GSP Studios, has wrapped Principal Photography. That Good Night also stars Charles Dance, in the role of the elusive Visitor opposite Hurt. Also in the cast is Sofia Helin, Erin Richards, Max Brown, Noah Jupe and Joana Santos. The five week shoot on the Algarve, primarily in Monte Seco, also took in Tavira, Praia dos Olhos de Agua and the region around, Faro, with the support of the Loule Film Office and Algarve Film Commission. Producers Alan Latham and Charles Savage, who also wrote the screenplay, commented: "The weather was rather unkind for the first few weeks of the shoot, but our cast and crew have been exceptional and it's testament to everyone's hard work that we've had such a successful shoot on That Good Night. It's thanks also in no small part to the generosity and warm welcome we've received on the Algarve." GSP Studios is handling worldwide sales on That Good Night, showcasing first look footage to buyers at Cannes. Financing for the film was through GSP Studios, Red Rock Entertainment and Goldfinch Entertainment.
