Three New Films Debut From
Park Entertainment At Cannes

3 Mile Limit
London based independent sales and distribution company Park Entertainment, headed by CEO Jim Howell, has acquired three titles new to the international marketplace for buyers at Cannes.

The arena for selling independent product has changed dramatically over the last three to five years, with audiences worldwide demanding well-written scripts, good production values and engaging story lines with a strong marketing hook.

Park Entertainment is screening for the first time at Cannes three films with appeal to the marketplace. Enter The Jungle, narrated by and featuring rapper Ice T; 3 Mile Limit, directed and produced by Craig Newland; and Dead Of Winter, directed by Robert Rice and starring international soccer star John Carew in his first acting role.

Jim Howell said: "It's important for sales companies to have a diverse slate of commercial films completed to debut in Cannes, and with these three films we are accomplishing exactly that. We're very pleased to have these titles on our slate and can't wait to show them to distribution partners in Cannes."

Rapper Ice T narrates the feature length documentary Enter The Jungle, directed by Alex Harvey (100 Ways To Die, Vacuum). In 2003, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt fighter Wallid Ismail held his mixed martial arts and kickboxing 'Jungle Fight' deep within the Amazon Jungle. This documentary captures fifteen intense contests in Brazil at 'Jungle Fight' venues, including the first held in Rio's notorious 'City of God' fights that represent the best in MMA. The film also traces Wallid's origins in Amazonas, Northern Brazil, looks at his fighting career and profiles his current role as MMA promoter as he moves between the different worlds of Brazil and Hollywood. Enter The Jungle features the new Brazilian fighters of today, fighters such as Fabricio Werdum, Sergio Moraes, Erick Silva, John Lineker, Iliarde Santos, Alexandre "Pulga" Pimentel and Ildemar Alcantara.

3 Mile Limit, directed and produced by Craig Newland, dramatizes a true story set in the 1960s, starring Matt Whelan (The Most Fun You Can Have Dying) and Belinda Crawley (Deadly Women). For Richard Davis (Whelan), life is all about music and his beautiful artist wife Judy. His big dream is to bring rock n' roll to the public. Richard buys the TIRI, a tired old rusting coastal boat. Moored in international waters, Radio Hauraki is born! Fulfilling his dream brings him into direct conflict with the Government and its monopoly on State Controlled Broadcasting.

International soccer star John Carew is in his first acting role in Dead Of Winter, a thriller written by Michael Hamilton-Wright, directed by Robert Rice and which also stars Dave Barclay and John Boylan. In the rugged wilderness of Colorado, teams compete in an extreme Geocache treasure hunt. It's all fun and games for one such team until they discover the real game is someone hunting them. It leads to a climactic showdown where they discover each of them is connected to a tragic event from their past in a way they couldn't possibly have foreseen.
