Ankie Beilke Stars In Wishing Tree

Ankie Beilke (above) is the lead in Wishing Tree, a story of love and cross-cultural romance, set in Munich and Hong Kong. Directed by Ankie Lau, the film stars Ankie Beilke, Sabin Tambrea, Bill Campbell, Audrey Landers, Dey Young, Carl KL Ng, Timmy TM Hung, and Michelle Yan; from a screenplay by Ankie Beilke, Ankie Lau, cinematography by Gu Chang Wai and Michael Praun. Wishing Tree is produced by Ankie Lau, of Lau Film International, in co-production with Salon Films, with Co-Producers Julian Nida-Rumelin, Fred Wangs. Wishing Tree was shot in English and German.

Presales to the US, UK and Australia secured the making of the family-entertainment feature which is an English-language adaptation of Cornelia Funke's bestselling novel, translated into 20 languages.
