The New Adventures of Figaro Pho Scheduled
To Romp Again In Latin America With Turner's
Cartoon Network and Boomerang

The New Adventures of Figaro Pho

The new series The New Adventures of Figaro Pho aimed at 8 to 12 year olds, from award-winning producers Chocolate Liberation Front and Figaro Pho creator Luke Jurevicius, prior to MIPCOM has been snapped up by Turner Broadcasting System Latin America for their kids channels Cartoon Network and Boomerang, in a package that includes Figaro's award-winning earlier series', Figaro Pho and The Adventures of Figaro Pho.

"With wonderful new characters, and even more hilarious adventures we wanted make the series bigger and better," said Frank Verheggen, from Chocolate Liberation Front. "But what Luma Toons then brought to the table is nothing short of amazing – their animation and VFX really made the show something very special. There's no doubt it will strike a chord with audiences around the world. We are of course thrilled that Latin America is leading the way in picking the show up."

Sharon Ramsay-Luck, Head of Sales & Business Development for ABC Commercial added: "These all new adventures feature breathtakingly beautiful animation, wonderfully crafted story lines and catchy music, which has taken Figaro to a whole new level."

In The New Adventures of Figaro Pho, the usually fearful Figaro Pho has mustered up the courage to venture outside his mansion and into the big, wild world. Supported by a new cast of quirky friends (including Snotty Ronald, Obsessive Prudence and Skater Boy Rudy), Figaro and his mechanical dog Rivet take on the simple pleasures of life, such as going to a movie, skateboarding a half pipe, or trying their hand at martial arts. The new series premiered worldwide on Australia's ABC3 end of August.
