Tim Pastore, President, Original Programming & Production, National Geographic Channels U.S., today will share his insights on the group's flourishing content development activities at MIPDoc. He will expound on where he sees the future of factual programming, faced with ever-changing consumer habits. Pastore oversees all development, production and production management for National Geographic Channel U.S., and is responsible for approximately 400 hours of content annually. Based in New York, he works closely with the head of international content for National Geographic Channels International and the NGCI team in London.

Tim Pastore is president, original programming & production, NGC U.S, and oversees all development, production and production management for National Geographic Channel U.S. Pastore is based in NGC's New York office in SoHo, overseeing the teams in New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., as well as working very closely with the head of international content for National Geographic Channels International and the NGCI team in London.
Prior to joining NGC, Pastore served as the executive vice president of production & development for National Geographic Studios — the production entity of National Geographic Society. At NG Studios, Pastore overhauled all of the internal systems and protocols at the production company while overseeing the company's client relationships and business strategy and serving as executive producer of the creative vision.
Pastore previously served as vice president of development and production for 3net, a joint venture from Sony Corporation, Discovery Communications and IMAX Corporation. Before 3net, Pastore was the director of production and development at Discovery Channel. Pastore holds a B.A. in both English and film studies, as well as an M.A. in English, from the University of Rochester.
