Responding To The Market Fragmentation
Autentic Opens New Sales Office In Cologne
To Support German Producers For Sales

Anne Hufnagel
At the start of the fourth quarter, the documentary label Autentic has positioned itself to make it more accessible as a sales partner to German producers who were previously unable to find appropriate structures to successfully present their films in a market characterized by increasing fragmentation, and have opened a new sales office in Cologne under the direction of Anne Hufnagel as at October the 1st.

The strategy also marks the start of a close cooperation with, among others, the WDR mediagroup for non-fictional program sales. Establishing this base Autentic will be involved in the co-financing of documentaries and documentary film series for the international market.

Patrick Hörl, Managing Director of Autentic GmbH explains: "We wish to be close to the leading content producers of our domain and hope to mesh their competence with our know-how in sales and production in the future. Anne Hufnagel is an acknowledged expert with a great deal of experience in international documentary sales as well as in the collaboration with specialized producers and content editors. We are absolutely delighted with this expansion of our team."
